This is Ponta Delgada and I took these pics yesterday afternoon. It was indeed very gray and cloudy. But this town is always charming and I find that it is never depressing. We sat in the port and had our little coffee while observing Queen Victoria cruise ship – one of those floating towns that visit the Azores.

As you can see below, some people were not discouraged by the bad weather conditions. There were actually quite a few swimmers for this time of the year.

And a bit further away, waves were having fun…
