The Terra Nostra Park in Furnas
Heaven on earth exists! I saw it with my own eyes. It’s called the Terra Nostra Park in Furnas. Do you want me to tell you more about it? But really, I don’t think I know enough superlatives for such a place.
The Terra Nostra Park was founded in the 18th century by the American Consul Thomas Hickling. Here you can find magnificent centenary trees, an exuberant vegetation from all over the world, meandering paths, small ponds and a pool with therapeutic warm muddy waters.
Wouldn’t you want to come here with a good book?
And look at these flowers…
There was also a hungry black swan, a few mandarine ducks (my favorite winged creatures) and some other types of ducks.
