I personally think that one can never get bored in Ponta Delgada. You can either just chill out in one of the cafés by the ocean and watch the activity in the port or you can decide to be more active and head out to discover the nature. And if you like the nature then you definitely won’t get bored in the Azores.

In Ponta Delgada you don’t need to walk for miles to get to the nature. Just go to the Jardim José do Canto.

It is a large and very beautiful park with hundreds of species of trees. This place is the perfect way to spend an afternoon strolling amongst the most amazing trees and shrubs that benefit from all the rain that falls here.

There is also a banana plantation (a small one though)…

And I especially like the name of this tree:
