As I already mentioned in one of my previous posts, there is an exquisite park in Ponta Delgada.  Whenever I need to have a break from work or when I feel my ideas are stupid and need a push…this is precisely where I like to go. There are some centenary trees, there are many playful little birds, there are exotic plants from far-flung places…

And some benches where you can sit down and observe the green world around you.

And there is also a mirror-like lake with a few lazy ducks.

And while I walked around slowly, enjoying the scenery, I spotted a young girl with a book, sitting on the ground by an old tree. She looked like a real bookworm.

I felt like asking her about the book but I know that it is bad manners to disturb someone who is reading. Books are sacrosanct. Anyway, I could tell that she was in a good company. So, I observed her for a while and then went on with my leisurely walk.
