Salto do cabrito is situated in the area of Caldeiras of Ribeira Grande.

There is a catwalk above a large pipe that leads to it….

… and some very steep stairs!!!

In the area, there are also some natural pools with boiling water.

There were no pools in the forest but the earth was very hot in some places. We could even see the steam coming out.

On the way back, we drove along the coast which offered some breathtaking views.

We also passed by the tea plantations just before the darkness of the night enveloped the nature…
