Boltenhagen is a seaside resort close to Wismar and it is considered to be part of the German Riviera. The town is known for its sandy beaches and its quaint houses.

This is a strandkorb, which literally means beach basket. Strandkorbs are designed to provide comfort and protection from the sun, wind, rain and sand. They are typical for the Baltic Sea beaches.
