Taipei Botanical Garden
You must have already noticed that I love botanical gardens. Whenever we go to a new town, we always check if there is a botanical garden to visit.
The Taipei Botanical Garden was originally established during the Japanese rule in 1921, although the garden itself has been in existence since 1896.
There are 17 districts in the garden, exhibiting various plants. The garden has over 1,500 species of plants. The 9 ponds are also designed to grow different plants.
We saw some beautiful flowers and plants…
And a few interesting birds…
There were a lot of butterflies…
But this squirrel was definitely my favorite!
Wow, some great shots here, Nataly. That bushy-tailed squirrel is unique!

Yes. I discovered that it’s called Pallas’s squirrel. Such squirrels live in China, Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
