Angla Windmill Hill
You can already see them from the road – 5 old windmills.
But for a modest price of EUR 3,50 you can actually see what they look like from the inside.
Four of the five windmills are typical trestle windmills characteristic of the island of Saaremaa.
They were built at the beginning of the 20th century. A Dutch-style windmill, which is slightly taller than the others, was built in 1927.
You can also visit the Angla Heritage Culture Centre which is located in a beautiful traditional house.
Beside the museum, there is a nice café on the ground floor where you can have a typical Estonian drink (kama), or just a coffee and a freshly made cake.
Windmills are cool to see, were these still in use? Love the Stalin clock!

Hi Eliza! Unfortunately, they are not. But it was still interesting to see them. I also liked the clock. It’s a real piece of history. Hope you’re well 😉
